Martha C. de la Torre is the CEO of El Clasificado, dba EC Hispanic Media, which was founded in 1988 as a weekly Spanish-language classified publication. Ms. de la Torre and El Clasificado have received multiple awards and recognition over the last two decades, including being awarded an EPPY by Editor and Publisher Magazine in 2020, being named Minority Small Business Champion of the Year by the SBA in 2015, and being nominated as an Ernst & Young Entrepreneur of the Year finalist for Los Angeles in 2013, to name a few. 

Ms. de la Torre currently serves on the Board of the Loyola Marymount University Latino Alumni Association. She formerly served on the Board of Regents for Loyola Marymount University and was Chair of the International Classified Marketplace Association headquartered in Amsterdam.

Ms. de la Torre is a graduate of Loyola Marymount University where she earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting. She joined Arthur Young & Company where she became a CPA and audit manager specializing in banks and businesses targeting the U.S. Hispanic market. In 1986, she became the Chief Financial Officer of La Opinion, the largest Spanish language daily publication in the United States.
