FCB's 2021 Charity Golf Tournament
Due to ongoing concerns over the continued increase in COVID-19 cases, specifically the risks involved with the current Delta variant, we have made the very difficult decision to cancel this year's in-person charity golf tournament. We are heartbroken to not be able to gather together again, but we know this is the right choice to ensure the safety and well-being of all of our participants and staff.
While we may not be having an in-person tournament this year, there is still a critical need to continue the Bank's mission to raise money to support our 18 charitable organizations in need. Similar to our plan for 2020, we have set up this virtual fundraising page to learn about the selected charities and the work they are doing in our communities, as well as to donate, either by credit card using the online link below or by sending a check (payable to First Choice Bank Charity Golf Tournament, 2401 E. This Year's Charities
For 2021, we have identified 18 local nonprofit organizations to benefit from our fundraising activities. These carefully selected groups provide critical services that are more important than ever as our communities face hardships due to the ongoing pandemic, which has amplified the vulnerability of people already experiencing extreme poverty, homelessness, isolation and hunger. This Year's Sponsors
Despite this year's event having to be cancelled due to health concerns amid the pandemic, our sponsors have generously stepped up to contribute funds to our 18 nonprofit partners in this extraordinary time of need for our communities. 100% of all donations collected this year will go directly to the chosen charity organizations. We thank our sponsors for their tremendous generosity and encourage others to support this year's charities by donating.
Since 2011, First Choice Bank’s Annual Charity Golf Tournament has supported charitable organizations in our local communities that help those most in need. Each year, our charities have been fortunate enough to receive even greater support from our sponsors and donors than the year before. Although our tournament for 2020 had to be cancelled due to the pandemic, we were still able to raise $60,000 through donations by our clients, employees, directors and friends, and matches by the Bank and the Much is Given Foundation. Every dollar raised went to the selected 18 nonprofit organizations throughout Southern California (press release).
One of First Choice Bank’s core beliefs is to always look for opportunities to make a positive impact on the communities in which we live and work, not because it is required, but because it is the right thing to do. We are grateful for the success of previous years' events and, despite the obstacles put into our path last year, we were still able to support many charitable organizations assisting those most in need. With your help, we look forward to making an even bigger impact in 2021!
